As a highly qualified early years practitioner I have over 19 years experience in working in a whole range of early years settings. I have managed Pre-schools, taught as a teacher, ran a holiday club for 5 years, been through Ofsted inspections and recently managed a large children’s nursery in Barnstaple that had 79 children on role and employed 14 members of staff.
My qualifications and training include being an Early Years Qualified Teacher and an Early Year Professional as this really demonstrates the passion and determination I have to this sector and ensure that my knowledge can really drive a business forward.
As a childminder, I live on my own in a beautiful cottage, next to a large lawn with woodland, with the cat the children know as “Ron Ron”.
Jade
Jade works as my assistant on a Tuesday and working in Early Years is a brand new career for her (Other than having 2 small humans herself!)
However so far, she has already completed her Level 2 in introducing caring for children & young people; completed level 2 safeguarding training as well as FGM and Prevent training!
